Thank you!

Pep reaction

We created in the beginning , but they defended really well - the squad they have is fantastic and they are good enough, but for one reason or another we are unable to score and unable to win.

It’s difficult, there’s games where we are good. I had a feeling that we played well and played decent against them.

Arsenal have dropped points, so it was important to be close and Tottenham are not far away.

I think we started well, we created many things, but after a mistake from two weeks ago we did it again.

It happened but we were able to come back, but of couse there was lots of interruptions in the second half.

We'll have words from the boss shortly and then our focus will shift to Aston Villa. Who knows what will happen next? Arsenal take on Brentford next weekend and then, after our game against Villa,  City travel to the Emirates the following Wednesday. That game is huge, but as both top sides lost this weekend, the teams behind will believe they have can have a big say in the title race, too. There are a lot of games to go, so nothing is decided and there is everything to play for.

More Kyle...

"Of course it is, (a chance missed) - Arsenal dropped points and we needed ti pick up points to make up the gap. There’s so many games left, I know that there are twists and turns to come. I know this team and I know we can go on a run and win every game from now until the end of the season."

Kyle Walker reaction

"It’s disappointing, obviously. We’ve come here to pick up three points and get a result at this stadium. We move on now, onto the next game and try to go on a run that we know we can do.

"It’s difficult, when you have five at the back and two holding, with three running in behind, it has to be about how much you go forward without conceding at the back, it’s almost cat and mouse. A few chances go in, like the Riyad one, then the momentum could have gone our way. We could have definitely done better."

David James on BBC Radio Manchester

"It just didn't quite happen for City. Hugo Lloris hadn't been overly extended in the game. Erling Haaland looks disappointed and its hard to blame him, he hasn't had a chance to change the game today. The most frustrating thing is that the goal was completely avoidable."

I feel totally flat, as always when we lose.

Steph Houghton: We fight to the end

"We have such a belief in how we play at the club. We really believe in the way we play our football, we always fight right until the end. I can see that happening and you need that spirit to the end."
