GARETH TAYLOR PREVIEW

The boss said: “[We played Bristol City] last season in the Conti Cup at the same stage. They’re a team who are knocking on the door of the Championship and unfortunately fell out in that season from the top flight.

“We’re expecting a tough encounter at their stadium. The bigger the stadia for us and the more opportunity for bigger support is great.

“We’re expecting it to be a good occasion, one we’re looking forward to and we want to progress in the competition we won last season.”

INJURY NEWS ON MORGAN AND STOKES

Taylor said on Morgan: “We need to monitor her over the next 24 hours.

“She didn’t train today, so at this moment in time she looks a doubt which is unfortunate because she’s an important player, like all the players are.

“We’ll have to assess her over the next 24 hours and see if she’s able to make the journey to Bristol."

He added: “Demi is improving day by day, but this game might be a little too soon for her.

“Outside of that everyone has come through and trained today as normal.”
